Bellevue Guesthouse is a delightful guesthouse that
offers great value for money, good service and a homely atmosphere. With just
nine rooms, Bellevue offers an intimacy and personal level of service you just
can't get at the larger resorts.
Bellevue is located on the South East coast of
Zanzibar, 2km north of Bwejuu village. The guesthouse is nestled 50m back from
the beach, elevated on a small coral cliff providing stunning views of the
ocean. From the main building there are just a few small steps down to the
beach where Bellevue’s umbrellas and beach beds await you.
The guesthouse is 5km away from Paje where the
hotel's own Kite surf school, Kite Centre Zanzibar is located.
Bellevue has a lush green garden, where you can
always chill-out and read. Bellevue also provides you with hammocks on your own
private terrace - perfect for those quiet and peaceful moments.

The guesthouse 5km away from Paje where we run our
Kite surf school. The down-winders from Paje to Bellevue are brilliant!

surfing against the stunning background of endless blue Indian Ocean, beautiful
white beaches and an African village where the pace of life seemingly hasn't
changed for over fifty years.

Dining
Bellevue’s cosy open-air restaurant is open from
8.00 am to 9.00 pm and perches just above the beach.
Choose from a selection of fresh dishes; an
eclectic mix of the traditional Swahili cuisine, European, Indian and Italian
cuisine. Vegetarian dishes are available daily.
Don’t miss the fantastic weekly Swahili Dinner, a
buffet of fish/meat/vegetarian delights. A lovely friendly communal meal
followed by a bonfire on the beach.
Bellevue Guesthouse has four choices of bungalows
and suites.
TWO DELUXE/HONEYMOON SUITES
These are located on the second floor above two
deluxe bungalows and can be accessed via wooden steps. You can hang out and
relax in your private swing on the balcony with a great view of the ocean - and
the moon and stars at night. This is the biggest and most romantic bungalow!
