activities. Low tide is ideal for long walks all the way to the outer reef to

LUXURY VILLAS
Anna of Zanzibar is an intimate resort with just five villas
nested in the spacious tropical garden. Your privacy is guaranteed. All villas
are finished to a high quality with Anna’s trademark fusion of Zanzibari and
colonial style. Three of the five luxury villas are suitable for family, triple
or quadruple occupation. Each villa has:
- A separate lounge area, a master bedroom, dressing room and bathroom.
- Air-conditioning in the master bedrooms
- A private veranda that overlooks the Indian Ocean.
- A mini bar, an individual room safe, a hairdryer and wireless internet connectivity.
A combination of hardwood floor and ivory coloured terrazzo
create a warm and comforting atmosphere, completed with Arabian mosaic lamps
and antique brass elements. Four windows grant a lot of daylight in the new
room and a separate toilet unit ensures privacy. The spacious walk in-shower
offers the choice between a rain-shower and a classic telephone-shower.

Community & Conservation
Anna of Zanzibar supports its local community and is a firm
believer in the importance of education for social change.
The Bewjuu School Project was set up in 2011 and aimed to
provide proper school benches for children so that they no longer study sat on
the floor. A local carpenter was brought onboard to produce the school benches
from high quality hardwood to ensure they last for several generations. In July
2012, 80 school benches were finished and delivered to the school, the goal is
100, which they are well on the way to! Once achieved, the next project will be
to renew the school buildings.
